I recently visited The Lama Temple in Beijing.

It is truly gorgeous.
This is about getting there.
And the fabulous Beijing subway system.
I really do spend a lot of time writing about the subway.
I find it, the people, and the freedom it allows me, to be amazing.
And,
sometimes,
utterly confusing.
Just in case you thought you were confused, well you can be certain of it now.
This map is a perfect explanation of the somewhat confusing explanations of the subway.
Or not.
After my friend, Nuria, met me we figured out that A, B, C and D are different from A, B, C and D.
This is because one is line 2 and the other is line 5.
However, this is not obvious until you spend 20 minutes looking for each other, using WeChat and making phone calls.
That being said, it was an exciting and absurd start on our trip to see the 85 foot tall Buddha at Lama Temple.
