Day 67 in Beijing: Jill’s First Week.

We decided to celebrate Jill’s first week at Schindler’s anlegestelle (dockingstation).

Washing the beer tower.

Washing the beer tower.

It is quickly becoming one of our favorite haunts.

Is that a beer in your hand or are you just glad to see me?

The food is great.

The beer is inexpensive and flowing.

And the friends we’ve made there are fantastic.

It is a multi-cultural restaurant and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Fill 'er up!

We usually start inside, because it is so hot during August, and then move out to the patio as it cools down a bit.

They have about 6 beer towers waiting to be used and we thought, since this is a celebration, we’ll try one out!

The beer was cold, tasted great on this boiling hot day, and friends started to show up as they got off work.

The weather cooled down and we headed outside.

We then moved outside and the fun continued.

The beer towers cost 58RMB during happy hour.

That comes out to about 10 bucks American for 3 Liters of beer.

Cheers and Happy First Week, Jill!
