Unwrapping Your Sushi, Part 2

 

Good morning, afternoon, or night, dear readers.

If you’ve been paying attention, you learned how to unwrap the basic triangle shaped sushi in How To Unwrap Your Sushi.

Sushi has decided to make a triumphant comeback and present itself again for our enjoyment.

So, without further ado, here is how to unwrapping your sushi, part 2.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 1:  Give regards to the beautiful design of the cylindircal sushi.  Enjoy it for a moment.  Scan up to the top of the sushi and notice the little red arrow pointing downward with the number “1” on it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2:  Take the little red arrow with Chinese script on it between your thumb and pointing finger and start to lift it up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Continue to pull while slightly pressing down on the sushi roll with your other fingers or it will lift right off the table.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Pull down the sushi and the thin piece will disconnect from the rest of the cellophane.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Start to unroll the sushi from the cellophane packaging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Start to unroll the edges of the cellophane packaging and your sushi starts to see the first sight of freedom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 7:  Almost there!  Continue to unroll and open the cellophane covering and wait just a bit longer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 8: Completely unroll your sushi and allow it to breathe for a minute and ponder the simple beauty of it.  If a sushi is unrolled in the forest, and no one is there to eat it, does the sushi really exist?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 9: Enjoy your freshly made sushi!  It looks, and is, delicious!
